Remember when Twilight ended and you cried for weeks because no book after that was good enough?! Surely that wasnt just me……. Well, fret no more bacause i have found a replacement!
The debut book by Lee Wilson is the first instalment of The Hybrid Saga, which brings us Hannah Sawyer. A girl who wants to get her life back on track. At the ‘old’ age of 26 she packs her bags for college…..Again! But only after making a deal with herself, Work hard and NO boys! But that is sooo out of the window when she meets Daniel Keith (sigh) He’s tall, Dark and has a certain mystery about him that Hannah can’t work out. Will Hannah break her own rules? Will Daniel let her get close to him? And what is the mystery that surrounds him? Find out in this all new series that will have you totally hooked and left wanting more!

When i first read the blurb to this book my first thoughts were “Not another Twilight rip off” O.M.G. am I now eating my words! I love, Love, LOVED it! And hats off to the author, Lee, for keeping it fresh, original and very gripping.
All the characters are relatable, even Daniel’s ex-girlfiend,Natalie, whose a total psycho! Erika did grate on me after a while and i kept forgetting that Hannah was a lot older than the others but easily led astray. The story was well plotted and i especially enjoyed the fast pace of the book and the twist and turns of the story. As for the ending, why is book 2 not out already!?! Talk about wanting more 🙂

Im looking forward to the next instalment of The Hybrid Saga, So please dont make us wait too long Lee!

  1. I enjoyed reading this too! I think I gave it a 4.5/5 stars. It was definitely a fresh read and the characters were relatable. Natalie was DEF. a psycho! Haha. Hopefully the next installment is as good as this, if not, better.
