The Seals Of Abgal (A Guard Of The Seals Tale)
-by Woelf Dietrich
“Bookstore owner and novice antiquarian, Sebastian Kaine is proud of his new profession and even prouder still of the collection of antique books on the occult that he keeps locked away in the basement of his bookstore. But his little utopia is shattered one night when he wakes up in that same basement, bound and bloodied, and his prize collection all but destroyed”…
The Seals Of Abgal is a novella and more of an introduction into the story of Sebastian Kaine, but it does not disappoint. It is quite clear from the onset that a lot of research and thought has gone into this story by the way the book flows so effortlessly from page to page.
Anyone who is a fan of the occult, dark fantasy and adventure will love this book and will be waiting with baited breath for the next instalment. Although the story had me a little frustrated that the scene never changed throughout I can’t help but think it was a cunning plan of the authors to keep the reader teased and wanting more, and it’s sure got me!
A very easy and well deserved 5 Golden Apples
